Congratulations! Congratulations
to Postponing Sexual Involvement Teen Leaders Eva Arango, Refije Deda, Jeanine
Howard, Jenelle Howard, Fludiona Naka, Begaeta Nukic, Estaphania Rodriguez and
Miranda Stephenson, who were among 19 seniors from Hartford’s three public
high schools to be named Fox Foundation Scholars. Each will receive $12,000
scholarships and were selected on the basis of academic achievement, leadership,
character and concern for others. Congratulations also to PSI Teen Leaders Raza Kazmi, Fludiona Naka, and Begaeta Nukic whose artwork and essays were chosen as winners in the 2007 Teen Pregnancy Prevention Expressions Contest by the Connecticut Department of Social Services. Estaphania Rodriguez was also chosen as Outstanding Program Participant. The students will be recognized at an event on May 11 and their submissions will be on display.
